«Gizakiaren minak» is a short story collection by Karlos Linazasoro, published by Erein Argitaletxea in paperback (157 pages, in Basque).
The stories explore human pain without losing an ironic, bittersweet humour. Like all good short stories, they hold an inner sadness; tenderness and simplicity sustain them, and some pieces interweave around a dysfunctional family. The author steps off his usual path and creates unique stories from nothing.
Part of Erein's «Narratiba» collection (no. 69). First edition, published on 29 April 2010.
For readers of contemporary short fiction and Basque literature in Basque.
