«Gente en su sitio» is Quino's humour comic, published by Lumen in hardback (128 pages, in Spanish).
A collection of graphic humour cartoons in which Quino portrays everyday situations, historical episodes and satirical scenes of a possible future. The humour relies on dialogues and recognisable characters, such as the parody of Sherlock Holmes, office scenes and reflections on education, always with his characteristic ironic gaze on human contradictions.
Spanish edition published by Lumen in the Lumen Gráfica collection. The work was originally published in 1979.
Aimed at readers of comics and graphic humour, and especially at those who enjoy Quino's work beyond Mafalda.
Joaquín Salvador Lavado Tejón, better known by his pen name Quino, was an Argentine cartoonist. His comic strip Mafalda is popular in many parts of the Americas and Europe and has been praised for its use of social satire as a commentary on real-life issues.
