«Galeones» is the illustrated children's history book by Claire Aston, published by Ediciones SM in hardback (32 pages, in Spanish).
With large annotated illustrations, the work traces the life of a Spanish galleon: its construction in the shipyard, the pirate attack that ends it, and the discovery and recovery of the ship years later. A chronological index helps place each scene in time.
Third volume in the «Paseo por el tiempo» collection, with illustrations by Peter Dennis and translation by Pilar Tutor.
Recommended for boys and girls aged 8 to 12 interested in maritime history and the evolution of ships.
