«Gabo: Gabriel García Márquez, mémoires d'une vie magique» is the biographical comic by Óscar Pantoja, Miguel Angel Bustos, Felipe Camargo and Tatiana Córdoba.
The work traces the life of Colombian Nobel laureate Gabriel García Márquez: his childhood in Aracataca, his youth in Paris, his love story and his encounters with Fidel Castro, alternating the everyday with the creative process. Four artists illustrate the stages of the narrative with a palette of four colours: pink, blue, yellow and green.
The book was published by Editions Sarbacane in hardback in 2016, with 165 pages and text in French. The work was originally published in 2013 as «Gabo: Memorias de una vida mágica».
Suitable for readers of historical and biographical graphic novels, with an interest in Latin American literature and culture.
