Frisch gepresst

Synopsis of Frisch gepresst

«Frisch gepresst» is Susanne Fröhlich's humorous novel, published by Ullstein Taschenbuch in paperback (220 pages, in German).

With absurd humour, the novel follows a woman during the five days she spends in hospital after giving birth. There she discovers that childbirth is not the walk in the park men describe, amid visits from the clumsy father, two roommates, esoteric mothers and inscrutable doctors; it reviews the turbulences of the lives of men, women and children.

First instalment of the Andrea Schnidt series, published in 2008. The cover bears the subtitle 'Roman'.

Aimed at mothers, expectant mothers and those who enjoy chick lit and comedies about everyday life.
