«Forfora e altre sventure» is a collection of short stories by Pino Cacucci, published by Feltrinelli in paperback, in Italian.
It brings together several stories: an employee is appointed as people's executioner; a rector is found dead in women's lingerie; an unemployed young man drives across Mexico in a stolen car; and some neighbours attack a female neighbour when she tries to halt prostitution in her neighbourhood. With irony and sarcasm, Cacucci depicts the petty miseries and traps of everyday life.
Originally published in 2012, it belongs to the Feltrinelli Universale Economica collection. Text in Italian.
For those who appreciate black humour and social satire in short stories set in everyday life.
