«Extra magnifiek theater» is a collection of theatrical texts by Arne Sierens, published by Beefcake Publishing in paperback (236 pages, in Dutch).
It brings together 50 selected fragments from Arne Sierens's plays: monologues, duos and scenes designed for rehearsing and performing in class or among amateurs. The volume shows the author's satirical and often disconcerting view of contemporary situations, combining grotesque and artistic texts with humour and emotion.
First edition published on 28 January 2022 by Beefcake Publishing (ISBN 9789493111936).
Aimed at drama students, theatre teachers and amateurs who want to work on these texts alone, in pairs or in groups.
