«Espagnol: 365 fautes à éviter» is the practical Spanish guide by Gérard Mari and Iluminada Mata-Guéant (PUF, paperback, 124 pages, in French).
The manual starts from an idea: close languages like French and Spanish also hide traps; «entender» does not mean «entendre» and the Spanish preterite does not equal the French passé composé. The authors have gathered the most common errors of students and offer 365 corrections, one a day, with model sentences and exercises to check what has been learned.
The work belongs to the Major collection from PUF, was published in 2000, and its didactic approach relies on test-type exercises.
Suitable for secondary school and university students who wish to review frequent Spanish errors with a daily routine.
