«En este cuento no hay ningún dragón» is the picture book by Lou Carter, published by Picarona in hardback (40 pages, in Spanish).
A narrator warns that there is no dragon in these pages, but one peeks out and the characters insist he doesn't belong to the story or can't be the hero. The work plays with classic tales and reader expectations, in a scene full of humour and fantasy.
The illustrations are by Deborah Allwright, the translation from English is by Joana Delgado Sánchez and the work was originally published in English.
Recommended for early readers aged 5 to 8 and for those seeking a humorous twist on classic tales with dragons.
