«En Çiron vuelan» is the science fiction novel by Samuel R. Delany, published by Plaza & Janés in paperback (251 pages, in Spanish).
A peaceful, pre-technological people, unfamiliar with weapons, homicide, money and monotheism, suffers an invasion they do not know how to face. Hope comes from a third culture: a society of winged beings whose point of view on war lies halfway between the two sides.
Spanish translation of «They Fly at Çiron» (1993), with a foreword by Joe Haldeman. First edition published in 1999.
A work for science fiction readers interested in anthropological speculation and cultural conflict.
