«Els quatre Evangelis» is the Catalan edition of the four Gospels, published by Publicacions de l'Abadia de Montserrat in paperback (167 pages).
The volume brings together the four canonical Gospels —Matthew, Mark, Luke and John— in Catalan, following the complete text of the interconfessional version published in June 1979 by several biblical organisations. It is a brief, accessible edition aimed at bringing the New Testament to a general audience.
It belongs to the «El Gra de blat» collection (no. 32). It is the first edition, published in 1980, with the text in Catalan.
For readers seeking the Gospels in Catalan in a brief, accessible edition, with the text agreed between several Christian traditions.
