«El último vikingo» is the time-travel romance novel by Sandra Hill, published by Terciopelo in paperback (350 pages, in Spanish).
Geirolf Ericsson, a tenth-century Viking, survives a shipwreck and wakes up in present-day Maine, at the home of Dr. Meredith Foster. She takes him for an eccentric, but his knowledge of medieval Norwegian culture and his overwhelming presence sweep her into a passionate love story that crosses the barriers of time.
First instalment of Sandra Hill's Viking series. The original title, «The Last Viking», was published in 1998 and this Spanish edition appeared in 2006.
Novel for readers of time-travel romance, combining humour and romantic tension with a misplaced Viking protagonist.
