«El tresor de Karim» is the young-adult adventure novel by Jesús Mollà Castells, published by Bromera in paperback (288 pages).
Àlex, a boy with little interest in school, stumbles into an unexpected adventure when he meets Robert Benlliure, a retired man who cannot find a way to finish the novel he is writing, in a cove. The characters of that book materialize and drag Àlex to the end of the 16th century, a world ruled by men like Karim or Brother Simó, ready to do anything for wealth and power. Together with his friends, Àlex will face them with no weapons other than cunning, courage, justice and friendship.
Volume 22 of Bromera's Esguard collection; first edition published in 2016.
Recommended for readers aged 14 and up, especially those looking for historical adventures with young protagonists.
