«El sueño de Lázaro» is Carlos Martín's poetry collection, published by Poesía eres tú in 2009 in paperback (86 pages, in Spanish).
A collection of poems that moves between nostalgia, desire, and the fragility of a self that dissolves in a decaying world. Divided into three parts —«Estancias de la Carne», «Fragmentos» and «El Sueño de Lázaro»—, it advances from emptiness to a search for meaning that culminates in redemption and connection with the existing.
It was published in June 2009 within the Poesía collection of the publisher Poesía eres tú (Madrid).
For readers of contemporary Spanish-language poetry seeking a brief and introspective work.
Colombian author, university teacher and writer (1914-2008)
