«El silencio blanco» is the collection of short stories by Jack London published by Aguilar in the Relato Corto collection (80 pages, in Spanish).
The stories transport the reader to the frozen landscapes of the Yukon, where hostile nature pushes the characters into a struggle for survival. In that extreme environment, solitude and cold strip the protagonists of social conventions and confront them with their most instinctive side. The story that gives the volume its title is one of the author's best known, along with the other texts that complete the selection.
This paperback edition is part of Aguilar's Relato Corto collection and brings together the story «El silencio blanco» along with another story, as stated on the cover.
John Griffith London, better known as Jack London, was an American novelist, journalist and activist. A pioneer of commercial fiction and American magazines, he was one of the first American authors to become an international celebrity and earn a large fortune from writing.
