«El Quinto Centenario» is the comic by F. Ibáñez from the Mortadelo y Filemón series, published by Ediciones B in 1992 in paperback (48 pages, in Spanish).
The comic parodies the commemoration of the fifth centenary of the discovery of America: Mortadelo and Filemón end up in lands inhabited by indigenous-looking characters who, in archaic Spanish, welcome them and invite them to share a table. The plot is completed with misunderstandings, escapes and the usual chaos of the agent duo.
This copy corresponds to number 42 of the Magos del Humor collection and, according to the cover, is the second edition of the adventure.
Aimed at young readers and fans of Mortadelo y Filemón adventures.
