«El pecado original» is the novel by Luis Racionero, published by Planeta in paperback (174 pages, in Spanish).
Lucas Gálvez, a scientist in Cambridge working on the human genome, travels to Egypt after a sentimental crisis. There he meets Kraft, a researcher who follows the trail of the Atlanteans to the Nile. The discovery implies a secret that challenges natural evolution and a ritual that connects the Paleolithic, ancient Egypt and the Middle Ages.
Published in 2001, it is the first edition in the Autores Españoles e Iberoamericanos collection.
For readers of contemporary Spanish fiction who enjoy historical enigmas and mysteries that connect eras.
