«El mayordomo miope» is Javier Tomeo's humorous novel, published by Planeta DeAgostini in hardback (148 pages, in Spanish).
El mayordomo miope presents a dialogue between two men that, seemingly trivial, turns into an allegorical and biting satire of the contemporary world. With unsettling humour, the conversation portrays a future society and its contradictions, sustaining a corrosive critique of current values and behaviours.
The novel was published in 2000 in the collection «Los grandes autores de la narrativa española actual».
For readers of contemporary Spanish fiction and social satire with humour.
Javier Tomeo was a Spanish (Aragonese) essayist, dramatist, and novelist.
