«El Greco» is the art book by Raquel Medina and Elisa Arnau, published by Susaeta in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).
A journey through the life and work of the Cretan painter El Greco (1541-1614), who settled in Toledo after travelling through Italy. There he managed to combine the Byzantine art of his origins with Italian and Spanish painting, and developed a mystical style that elongates forms and makes his portraits and compositions works of timeless air.
Part of Susaeta's «Pintores de siempre» collection, published on 5 February 2015 in Spanish.
Aimed at readers interested in art history and painting, recommended for ages 16 and up.
