«El despilfarro: La sangría de la España autonómica» is the political and economic critique essay by Federico Castaño (Espasa, paperback, 204 pages).
Federico Castaño analyses the economic management of the State of Autonomies and presents it as an oversized model, with duplications, superfluous spending and a competence race that hinders employment. The author sees the autonomous experiment born of the Transition as a threat to the equality of Spaniards and calls for rethinking it.
