«El complot de los faraones» is a historical novel by Philipp Vandenberg published by Martínez Roca in paperback (304 pages, in Spanish).
A fragmented Egyptian tablet, divided between Berlin, London, Paris and Cairo, holds the key to the tomb of Imhotep, priest, physician to pharaohs, magician and builder of the first pyramid. The search for that lost burial site in the desert gives rise to a plot of archaeological mystery, history and police suspense.
The Spanish edition of «El complot de los faraones», translated by José Antonio Bravo, appeared in 1993 within the Historical Novel Collection of Martínez Roca.
Aimed at readers of historical fiction and thrillers seeking archaeological enigmas in ancient Egypt.
