«El círculo oscuro» is the mystery novel by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback (417 pages, in Spanish).
FBI special agent Aloysius Pendergast and his protégée Constance investigate the theft of a sacred object from a Tibetan monastery: a relic whose existence its custodians barely acknowledge. A clue leads them to a luxurious ocean liner full of passengers, where horrifying crimes begin to occur. Only Constance, with the mental power she acquired at the monastery, seems able to face the dark presence threatening the ship.
Eighth novel in the Inspector Pendergast series, originally published as «The Wheel of Darkness» in 2007; Spanish translation by Jofre Homedes Beutnagel.
Recommended for readers of mystery and suspense thrillers with a supernatural atmosphere, and for followers of the Pendergast series.
