«El caso de Madame Paul» is the mystery and humour comic by Julie Doucet, published in 2002 by Inrevés Edicions in paperback (48 pages, in Spanish).
Julie has just rented an apartment in Montreal when her landlady, a psychedelic woman, disappears under mysterious circumstances. That mystery gives rise to a rocambolesque adventure, halfway between a mystery serial and a slice-of-life sitcom, far from the more personal character of other works by Julie Doucet.
It was originally published in instalments in a Montreal newspaper, in French, under the title «L'affaire Madame Paul» (2000). This Spanish translation corresponds to the 1st ed., 1st printing, in paperback of 17x21 cm.
Aimed at readers of humour and mystery comics and at those who want to approach Julie Doucet from a less autobiographical register.
