«El carrusel de las confusiones» is a crime novel by Andrea Camilleri, published by Ediciones Salamandra in paperback (224 pages, in Spanish).
Several women are kidnapped in Vigàta following the same pattern: chloroform, no theft or violence, though one of them appears with superficial cuts. Montalbano investigates an arson attack and the disappearance of a shop's owners. The mafia trail leads to a plot of betrayals and vendettas involving a death chamber.
It is the 28th instalment in the Commissario Montalbano series and was published in 2019 within the Salamandra Narrativa collection.
For crime fiction readers and for those who follow the Commissario Montalbano series; recommended reading from age 16.
