«El arte del asesino» is the mystery novel by Mari Jungstedt, published by EMBOLSILLO in paperback (360 pages, in Spanish).
On a cold winter morning, the body of gallery owner Egon Wallin is found hanging from one of the gates of the Visby city wall, on the island of Gotland. Detective Superintendent Anders Knutas, with the help of journalist Johan Berg, investigates a death that soon reveals secrets hidden behind an apparently conventional life: a lover, paintings stolen from Swedish artists, and a famous canvas called «El dandi moribundo». The trail of art trafficking leads the plot through the murky Swedish art world.
