«Eager» is the children's and young adult science fiction novel by Helen Fox, published by La Galera in paperback (218 pages, in Catalan).
Eager is a domestic robot capable of thinking and deciding for itself. This singularity makes Eager wonder who he is, why he is different, and why his best friend is a boy, while other robots rebel against their owners. The work is a reflection on artificial intelligence and what it means to be human.
First installment of the Eager series by Helen Fox. The Catalan edition, translated from English by Joan Puntí, belongs to the Narrativa Singular collection (number 22).
For readers aged 12 to 14 interested in science fiction, robots, and questions about identity and technology.
