«Dúplex» is the comic and poetry anthology by Ana Merino and various authors, published by Ediciones Marmotilla in paperback (76 pages, in Spanish).
«Dúplex» proposes a dialogue between comics and poetry in which both disciplines merge from their creation, resulting in pieces that move between formal adaptation and visual interpretation. The anthology thus shows how comics can expand their limits, absorb other influences, and be enriched by the hybridization of languages.
«Dúplex» appeared in November 2020 as a first edition. Among the contributors to the work are Enrique del Rey Cabero, Álvaro Pons, and Sergio Arredondo Garrido.
The anthology is suitable for readers interested in graphic experimentation and in the crossover between comics, poetry, and contemporary art.
Ana Merino Norverto is a Spanish poet, novelist, playwright, essayist and comics scholar. She won the Premio Nadal in 2020 for her novel El mapa de los afectos.
