«Dins la muralla (La novel·la de Ferrara)» is a collection of short stories by Giorgio Bassani, published by Edicions 62 in paperback (160 pages, in Catalan).
The book brings together five stories set in Ferrara: a young single mother who marries without being able to have children, a lonely doctor who barely tolerates his wife, a man returning from a concentration camp, an elderly socialist activist who dies in prison during the Nazi occupation, and a paralysed pharmacist who witnesses a fascist reprisal in December 1943.
It is part of the series «Il romanzo di Ferrara» (no. 1) and of the MOLU s.XX collection (no. 33). The work was awarded the Strega Prize in 1956.
