«Die Tagebücher von Adam und Eva» is Mark Twain's humorous work, published by DTV Deutscher Taschenbuch in paperback, in German.
The book brings together the fictional diaries of Adam and Eve, who tell in the first person about their life in paradise and the discovery of the other. Twain contrasts Eve's perspective with Adam's bewilderment to build an amusing reflection on human relationships, marriage and coexistence, with his characteristic ironic humour.
The 2008 edition includes the translation and an epilogue by Andreas Nohl and the illustrations by Susanne Mehl.
For readers of classic humour and those interested in literary versions of the myth of Eden.

He also wrote A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1889) and Pudd'nhead Wilson (1894) and cowrote The Gilded Age: A Tale of Today (1873) with Charles Dudley Warner.
