Anne Frank wrote this diary while she and her family hid in an annexe in Amsterdam during the Nazi occupation. Between the fear of being discovered and the routine of confinement, she records her reflections on adolescence, family tensions, and life with seven other people in hiding. This definitive edition adds a quarter more text.
It belongs to the Contemporánea collection and is translated from Dutch by Diego J. Puls and Neus Nueno Cobas. The original title of the work is «Het Achterhuis».
A classic of Holocaust literature, commonly read in schools and for readers interested in historical testimonies.
