¿Diaconisas en la Iglesia?

Synopsis of ¿Diaconisas en la Iglesia?

«¿Diaconisas en la Iglesia?» is the theological essay by Pedro Jesús Lasanta, published by San Pablo in paperback (220 pages, in Spanish).

Can the Catholic Church ordain deaconesses? Pedro Jesús Lasanta studies this open question, entrusted to the Pope, reviewing church history, the Magisterium, and the positions of pastors and theologians. Faced with a diversity of opinions, the author does not close the debate: he provides documentation so that readers can form their own conclusion.

Number 11 of the «Qué Iglesia» collection from the San Pablo publishing house, published in March 2024.

For those who follow the ecclesial debate on the role of women and the female diaconate in the Catholic Church.
