Synopsis of Deepdrive

«Deepdrive» is the science fiction novel by Alexander Jablokov, published by Avon Books in hardback (311 pages, in English).

Eleven alien races control the deepdrives, interstellar engines that self-destruct after each use and that humans do not possess. When the rebel Vronnan crashes on Venus, a group of mercenaries tries to free him to obtain the secret of the deepdrive. Nothing is what it seems and there are no easy answers.
