«De cursus 'omgaan met teleurstellingen' gaat wederom niet door: verzamelde vertelsels» is a collection of stories by Herman Finkers written in Dutch.
The volume brings together a selection of comic monologues and stories by Herman Finkers. His humour stems from everyday observations taken to the absurd: if you think too deeply, nothing quite adds up, so the incongruous ends up more believable than common sense.
Paperback, 286 pages. The author received the Groenman Taal-prijs in 2011 and the work was nominated for the Publieksprijs voor het Nederlandse Boek in 2020.
For readers who enjoy absurd humour and Dutch comedy, and for those who want to discover the work of Herman Finkers.
