«Dar Rosto ao Futuro» is Isabel Baptista's essay on education and ethics, published by Profedições in paperback (160 pages, in Portuguese).
The future is not a mere extension of the present, but a human and therefore ethical construction: this is what Isabel Baptista argues, inviting us to welcome the other and dialogue with them in the world of possibilities. Education stands as a guiding line for building that uncertain future, challenging educators.
The book, published in November 2005, bears the subtitle «A educação como compromisso ético» and falls within the fields of education and philosophy.
For educators and pedagogues interested in the ethical dimension of their practice, as well as for readers of philosophy of education.
