«Cuentos desde la Cruz del Sur» is a book of short stories by Mamerto Menapace, published by PPC Editorial in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
Menapace starts from the mystery that ancient navigators attributed to the south, a direction that defied compasses, and brings together 42 short stories. The stories, with a spiritual outlook, encourage readers to persevere in their own dreams and to leave the safe harbour behind; those born to sail will find in them a stimulus for the journey.
First published in 2003, it is no. 120 in the Sauce collection. Mamerto Menapace, a Benedictine monk at the monastery of Los Toldos (Argentina), has published nearly thirty books.
For readers aged 15 and over interested in spirituality and short stories.
Mamerto Menapace was an Argentine Catholic monk and writer.
