«Cuando anochece en el parque» is a collection of horror stories by M. R. James, in paperback (94 pages, in Spanish).
In this work, M. R. James, a classic of the ghost story, presents several horror tales in which the supernatural appears in everyday settings: parks, paths and recognisable landscapes become unsettling. The narration, sober and suggestive, builds a threat that grows without needing to show the horrendous explicitly.
Volume 86 of the Biblioteca de El Sol, published in 1991 with a translation by Francisco Torres Oliver.
For fans of the classic ghost story and M. R. James's horror narrative.

Montague Rhodes James was an English medievalist scholar and author who served as provost of King's College, Cambridge (1905–1918), and of Eton College (1918–1936) as well as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge (1913–1915). James's scholarly work is still highly regarded, but he is best remembered for his ghost stories, which are considered by many critics and authors as the finest in the English language and widely influential on modern horror.
