«Contes d'ici et d'ailleurs» is an anthology of tales prepared by Nunzio Casalaspro, published by Hatier in paperback (95 pages, in French).
It brings together tales from diverse eras and continents, linked to the study topic «El monstruo, en los límites de lo humano» of the French curriculum. These are marvellous, picaresque or religiously inspired stories that condense the art of the short story and offer a view of the world. The school edition adds the annotated text, a seven-step reading guide, an illustrated dossier and documentary research on the storyteller's trades, from griots to bards.
«Contes d'ici et d'ailleurs» belongs to the Classiques & Cie Collège collection and includes tales by C. Perrault, Ph. Soupault and B. Diop.
School edition aimed at secondary students studying the short story in French and at teachers looking for supplementary teaching material.
