«Con tal de no morir» is a novel by Vicente Molina Foix, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback (215 pages, in Spanish).
The story that gives the volume its title is a modern retelling of the Faust legend, with a Mephistophelian figure immersed in the market economy and a moving maternal presence. The work alternates serious tones and a fantastic vein with stylized realism, and includes the confessional tale «El peluquero de verdad».
Published in Barcelona in 2009, this Círculo de Lectores edition includes a dust jacket and a ribbon bookmark.
