«Cómo Obélix se cayó en la marmita del druida cuando era pequeño» is the children's comic by René Goscinny in hardback from Círculo de Lectores (32 pages).
It tells the day when Obélix, at six years old, fell into the druid's magic potion cauldron and acquired his superhuman strength forever. With the series' characteristic humour, the story reconstructs how that accident happened and how it changed his life.
An instalment in the Astérix series, with illustrations by Albert Uderzo and translation by Alfred Sala Carbonell.
For children's and young adult readers, as well as for Astérix fans who want to learn about Obélix's origin.

René Goscinny was a French comic editor and writer, who created the Asterix comic book series with illustrator Albert Uderzo. Born in France to a Jewish family from Poland, he spent his childhood in Argentina where he attended French schools and later lived in the United States for a short period of time. There he met Belgian cartoonist Morris. After his return to France, they collaborated for more than 20 years on the comic series Lucky Luke.
