«Canción del mosquito» is the children's story by Meritxell Armengol, published by La Galera in paperback (24 pages, in Spanish).
A mosquito bites a toad, a fish and a partridge that were at peace and disappears; the three are left wondering where it has hidden. The tale, with repetitions and onomatopoeia, invites readers to follow the insect's clues across the pages.
The book belongs to the Sirenas collection, number 5, is illustrated by Maria Tarragó and was published in 2012; it includes text in capital and cursive letters, level 2.
For children around 5 years old who are beginning to read; the double script and level 2 ease the first steps.
