«Caballo de Troya 8: Jordán» is the science fiction and mystery novel by J. J. Benítez, published by Planeta Publishing in paperback (552 pages).
In this instalment of the Caballo de Troya series, J. J. Benítez narrates in great detail the alleged baptism of Jesus of Nazareth in one of the tributaries of the River Jordan. The work departs from tradition and suggests that Jesus did not withdraw to the desert nor was tempted by the devil, a reinterpretation that invites readers to question the established version.
Eighth instalment of the Caballo de Troya series; this edition was published in 2008 and is also presented as «Jordán. Caballo de Troya 8».
For followers of the Caballo de Troya series and for readers interested in fiction that reinterprets biblical episodes from an alternative perspective.
