«The Complete Notes» is the volume bringing together Bill Bryson's two travel and humour books (Black Swan, paperback, 544 pages).
After nearly two decades in Britain, Bryson takes one last tour of the country and writes a tribute to its quirks, from tea with milk to those who say «mustn't grumble». Then, back in New England, he collects his columns about the US: pizza for breakfast, bad television, and nobody walking anywhere.
The volume includes the two titles «Notes from a Small Island» and «Notes from a Big Country»; text in English, 544 pages.
For readers who enjoy travel books written with humour and curiosity about British and American customs.
