«Bienvenue à l'Armée rouge» is the satirical guide by Pierre Antilogus and Philippe Trétiack, published by Le Livre de Poche in paperback (156 pp., in French).
The work parodies practical manuals and, with humour, describes the daily life of a collaborator within the Red Army, with its procedures, hierarchies and bureaucratic absurdities. The subtitle announces it as the first practical guide for the collaborator, and the satirical tone offers a critique of Soviet military life.
Written in French, the book was first published in 1985; this edition is from the Le Livre de Poche imprint (Librairie générale française).
Recommended for readers with a taste for French satire of the 1980s and ironic views of life in the Soviet bloc.
