«Berezina» is the travelogue by Sylvain Tesson, published by Folio in paperback (224 pages, in French).
In 2012, Sylvain Tesson and a group of friends commemorate in their own way the bicentenary of the retreat from Russia by travelling by sidecar the more than four thousand kilometres separating Moscow from Paris, and from that experience emerges a chronicle that mixes history, adventure and personal reflection.
Published on 7 February 2019. The book appears in the History category and falls within travel literature.
For those who enjoy motorcycle travel stories and Napoleonic history, especially the 1812 Russian campaign.
