«Baron Münchhausen: Nacherzählung für Kinder» is the children's audiobook by Gottfried August Bürger, published by Der Hörverlag on audio CD in German.
Baron Münchhausen is one of the best-known figures in German literature: his fantastic tales, full of irony and humour, recount impossible journeys and absurd exploits. The children's adaptation preserves the mocking tone of the classic and presents the character in astonishing situations.
The audiobook consists of 2 CDs and is narrated by Jürgen Thormann. The story comes from the work originally published in 1786.
Intended for children and young people who want to discover the adventures of Baron Münchhausen in German.
Gottfried August Bürger was a German poet. His ballads were very popular in Germany. His most noted ballad, Lenore, found an audience beyond readers of the German language in an English and Russian adaptation and a French translation.
