«Autoretrat» is the autobiography of Mercè Rodoreda, published by Angle Editorial in hardback (352 pages, in Catalan).
Autoretrat brings together texts by Mercè Rodoreda, some unpublished or hard to find, in an autobiographical account guided by her voice: childhood, the flight from a closed environment, war and exile, return and losses, along with her literary beginnings, the maturation of her style and the invention of her narrative world.
Autoretrat, volume 7 of the Llibres de la frontera collection, is the first edition, edited by Mònica Miró Vinaixa and Abraham Mohino Balet.
Autoretrat is aimed at readers of Catalan literature and those who wish to delve deeper into the figure of Mercè Rodoreda.
