The volume brings together Einstein's autobiographical notes and the text «Sobre la teoría de la relatividad especial y general», along with a selection of contributions to science with articles on physics and reality, the foundations of theoretical physics, E=mc², and figures such as Johannes Kepler and Maxwell.
The volume belongs to the Ciencia collection, directed by José Manuel Sánchez Ron, with a prologue and preliminary notes by the director and an illustration by Eduardo Arroyo.
For readers who want to read Einstein himself expounding special and general relativity from his autobiographical notes.
Albert Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist best known for developing the known theory of relativity. Einstein also made important contributions to quantum theory. His mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2, which arises from special relativity, has been called "the world's most famous equation". He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for "his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect".
