«Au-delà de l'horizon et autres nouvelles» is the short story collection by Franck Thilliez, published by Pocket in paperback (413 pages, in French).
The opening story follows Marc, a French former biologist, on the Acheron II mission: with other scientists he must test whether a group can sustain itself on Mars. The feeling of being watched and the loss of reason make the expedition unsettling. It is completed by stories of enigmas, doubles and machinations.
Published on 2 January 2020, the Pocket edition brings together the title story with other short narratives.
Suitable for thriller and science fiction readers interested in space missions and in Franck Thilliez's short fiction.
