Animal trist

Synopsis of Animal trist

In the Museum of Natural Sciences in Berlin, a woman and a man meet by the skeleton of a brachiosaurus. Their story, told by her, takes them to a dimension that escapes time and all forms of measurement. It is the story of a love between two lovers who will never live together, for whom the bed is a territory of exploration, both of bodies and memories, which sometimes separate more than a wall. 'Animal trist' is the novel that consecrated Monika Maron as one of the most important writers in Germany.
