«Amori bicolori» is a short story collection by Muin Masri, Ingy Mubiayi, Zhu Qifeng and Igiaba Scego, published by Laterza in paperback (150 pages, in Italian).
Four stories by authors born or raised in Italy about multicultural loves: a Somali woman defends her relationship with an Italian from outside interference; a couple falls in love over spring rolls and plans an Italo-Chinese wedding; another discovers she is «mista» when her daughter is born; and a Muslim clashes with the Catholic, provincial world of his partner.
First published in 2008 in Laterza's Contromano series, edited by Flavia Capitani and Emanuele Coen.
For readers of contemporary short fiction interested in multicultural Italy and the encounter between cultures.
